Mark Twain wrote legendary adventure novels, Hemingway wrote about the old man and the sea and I write about the Reno real estate market--"how uninteresting you may think", well, that's what I thought too.
Somebody once made a documentary about Will Shortz, the brains behind New York Time's crossword puzzle. The Director of the film did not have any background or the faintest interest in word puzzles, but he was drawn to Will Shortz's unabashed passion for his craft.
After two years of writing, I realized that pleasure is not derived solely on a particular subject, and that if you love what is in front of you (Reno real estate market, for the author) it really makes no difference if you're writing about a woman or homes:
