“I can sell million dollar homes!"
That was my first thought when I stepped foot into the Reno Chase office. It was 2006, but I remember it like yesterday. I was a brash, driven, twenty-eight year old, knocking on $150,000 condo-plexes. Chase International was the leader in selling and marketing million dollar homes in northern Nevada. The office and the people impressed me, but I doubted I could afford it.
I had planned to sign with Re/max, but stopped in to find out why my mentor, JoAnne Correira (one of the top agents in Reno), moved to Chase from Prudential. JoAnne told me that Shari Chase (CEO, Founder) was interested in tapping the starter home market. She insisted that Chase is more than just a "pretty face", and said the company would support me all the way.
She told me about Shari Chase's vision of investing in top management talent, in order to help us reach our full potential. As the only real estate company in Nevada at the time to employ a full-time marketing director, Chase clearly believed in top-notch marketing. The company's innovative ideas included pioneering the first broker real estate online social network in the US. What impressed me the most, though, was Chase's attention to details, which allowed it to list the third most expensive home in the US.
Shari promised me that Chase would help me become the best I could be in market knowledge, marketing and negotiating. And she was right.
Chase has done all that, and more. I can't think of another company that could have coaxed and pushed me to reach my potential the way Chase has done. My business is more profitable and more exciting because of my association with Chase. I look forward to going to work every day.
I could tell you about our company's 15 billion dollars in total sales since 1984, its exclusive affiliations, and celebrity testimonials; but it is the company's unwavering determination to put client needs first that separates this company from others.
While real estate suffered the worst decline since the great depression, our offices reached maximum capacity. We kept a high morale even in the tumultuous 2006-2008 years, because our company's dedication to its vision kept us moving forward, never looking back.
